Dollhouses – Half Scale (1:24)
Half-Scale dollhouses (1:24 Scale) are becoming increasingly popular among collectors due to the small footprint. As an avid dollhouse collector, I can certainly attest to the fact that storage space becomes an issue rather quickly when collecting the 1:12 scale houses.
I don’t yet have a sizable collection in this scale, however with the advent of rapidly increasing availability of quality half-scale furniture, accessories, and lighting, I may add to my collection as time goes on. In fact, I am in the process of building a half-scale Victorian house even as I write this.
Before you consider delving into the world of half-scale miniatures, I would like to warn you that the smaller scales of furniture & accessories tend to be much more expensive than that of their 1:12 counterparts.
