Modern Glassware
Most of the glassware that I collect is of the vintage/antique variety, but if I am drawn to a modern piece, I will buy it. As time permits, I will post miscellaneous modern pieces on this section as well as include sub-categories for collections by name.
The gorgeous bowl shown below is a European piece of lattice work that I bought last year with Christmas money from my elder sister (thanks so much!). This was an expensive piece . . . one I normally couldn’t even consider buying, but I absolutely love it. The artistry of this piece is even more impressive when seen in person.
The piece shown below, although “antique” in appearance, is an Avon powder jar. I don’t collect Avon in general, but I did think this lovely piece was worth obtaining.
