Dollhouses & Miniatures

My passion for dollhouses and miniatures began in 1968 when my elder sister received a dollhouse for Christmas which was custom-built by our father.  I loved that house so much that my father built one especially for me the next year.

My ever-growing personal collection now consists of a wide variety of dollhouses both in scale (ranging from the tiniest 1:288 to the more traditional 1:12), and in diversity.  While I lean mostly toward wooden life-like dollhouses, I also have an interesting variety of non-traditional dollhouses such as needlepoint versions, fold-out book versions, and even some of the newer plastic versions that you wouldn’t normally see included in a dollhouse & miniatures collection.  If it is a dollhouse or a miniature, I tend to like it.  Yes,  I’ve got “miniature fever” and I’ve got it bad . . .

I plan to eventually bequeath my entire collection to a dollhouse museum so that others may enjoy these lovely little treasures as time goes on.   Until then, I hope you will enjoy your tour through my dollhouses on this website and that you will feel free to visit often.
