Museum of Westward Expansion – St. Louis, MO
Housed within the monument site, this museum is a tribute to the determined people who tackled the wild west and brought towns and amenities to the new breed of settlers flocking to the St. Louis area. Although the museum is not large in scope, it is full of interesting displays and facts. I truly enjoyed perusing the interesting exhibits.
As much as I enjoyed viewing the items in this museum, and reliving the American history I had learned in school, it certainly gave me a renewed sense of appreciation for the amenities we take for granted today!
